If they did not have Martz's offensive scheme, the odds they win the Super Bowl goes down dramatically...in my opinion. I believe that this is why Vermeil copied Martz's offense in KC and had White run almost the exact same system.
Here's another opinion.
With an offense consisting of a stable OL including Pace and Timmerman, a qb of Warner's caliber, and with weapons such as Faulk, Bruce, and Holt (plus Hakim and Proehl), any GOOD coordinator could have orchestrated a top offense.
(Actually if anything I thought Martz went into a bit of a shell against Tampa. But that's a minor point.)
Absolutely, Martz deserves his share of the credit for doing a good job orchestrating the offense he was given, but the offense he was given included a long list of actual and should-be hall of famers.
But another GOOD coordinator could have gotten a lot of yards and points out of that collection of talent. To me that only stands to reason.
