The Ram team that won Superbowl barely got past Buccaneers but who cares someone has to believe they could win it all.
I never believed Wentz would maintain his performance let alone complete a season I was only right on him not completing season.
BTW Wentz is not perfect but he is a sensation and as long as he can hold up in this league should be fun to watch.
The homer in me has no problem projecting that Goff will exceed him next year. But not really sure what that means. I want Championships.
Nothing is promised. Unless you are GM and HC you will always have a reason to second guess and keep it real.
Perhaps our GM and HC are not drunk on cool aid and will do there best to improve the team and expect the players that remain to do their part to continue in a positive trajectory.
I think you get that and I tip my hat to you on your consistent reality checks that have been spot on when they were spot on but waiting for the wheels to come off is more palatable when it is clear that the coach and organization are off target. Hard to say this team is on wrong trajectory but if your only joy is saying there are no guarantees I hope we all already get that.
You don't go to a baby shower and say "you know this child most likely will not live to 100 if born at all." 2017 was our baby shower. I look forward to 2018 season.
