I really didn't think it was possible....at least this soon.
I've been as negative as anyone about this team over the past couple of years (under Fisher). But this is a really good team under McVay.
Now it may be that they have achieved as much as they can in their first year of winning in a very long time. I don't think that's the case, but as disappointed as I would be if they lost to the Falcons on Saturday, I wouldn't be at all down or doubtful about this team.
There's no reason to believe that tweaks this coming off season won't be as good as the tweaks this past off season, making the team even better next season. If what Goff suffered this year was his Sophmore slump then his 3rd year ought to be really special. We're very young, and still developing.
So I guess I'm about as relaxed and positive about Saturday night as I could be. I really believe the Rams are better than the Falcons, and that the Rams will play a good game and move on to the next round. And yet if they unexpectedly stumble I will still admire the job they've done this year and feel great about what's to come.
It's a good time to be a Ram fan!
Well written Rock. I feel the same way. It is indeed a good time to be a Rams fan. I am kinda shocked that there are still many here who do not feel that way and instead want to point out all the things wrong with the team. Maybe they are still hurting from all the years of losing and I understand that can happen. Then again, maybe they are just negative about everything or love the confrontation that comes from it. I just wish
everyone could enjoy this magical season. We all deserve it. Thanks for posting this bro. Goooo Rams!!
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
