Is Barron a candidate for cutting after the season?

January 04, 2018 05:05AM
Looking at his numbers plus his lingering injuries, and how well Littleton played in his stead, I'm wondering if the Rams would seriously consider cutting Barron to save $7 mil on the cap?

I really like Barron and would not be anxious for him to depart. But if push comes to shove, if money is needed to keep some other guys that we need, I could imagine Barron being let go.

I also wonder if Quinn isn't a tradeable commodity. He's having a good year and staying healthy. He's still relatively young. And he's really a 4-3 DE and less a 3-4 OLB. I would think that 4-3 teams would love to get their hands on a pass rusher like Quinn even at $12 million.
