But my criticism of him shouldn't be taken to mean that I don't like him as a player.
I'm not one to jump to the prevailing conclusion that pointing out flaws in a player automatically equates to not liking said player.
I would be curious to see how "they" quantify IT.
C'mon I bet you're curious too! lol
I have some curiosity.
I'm more curious when they come up with things that are wildly different from what I'm seeing.
But really, would instances of being out of position be that hard to quantify? I've seen stills from B&G and others pointing out times players have taken wrong angles and ended up out of position or just went to the wrong gap entirely. We already do that in reviewing games here. It doesn't have to be much more than that.
Wouldn't they just have to log every time that happens over the course of a game/season?[/quote]

Since you don't know how they rate him, they're rating could be "wildly different" from what you're seeing.
And nah its more than that, because you/me/they would have to know the play call, which we don't know.
Its not as simple as what meets the eye.Maybe they have a run blitz on where he is suppose to hit the b-gap and he does.
That's NOT taking the wrong gap or being undisciplined...
that's a play call issue.So no...its not that simple.
