Rams need to strike while iron is hot. There is no guarantees from year to year. LT will become an issue, several players will need paid huge $ or will be leaving, opponents will have a full off season to dissect McVay's offense.
2017 saw Goff, Gurley and Donald along with most of this team stay healthy. The NFL is not always so kind.
In most sports I would agree with your take but football is a different animal all together.

The Rams are loaded with young talent and will only get better.
