Certainly so. But I think the Rams defense for the last several years would have done better if the offenses had performed only 2/3rds as well as McVay's offense. Those defenses we're worn out by the start of the 4th quarter.
But Wade has definitely improved upon those past defenses. The 2nd half has consistently been the Rams defensive highlight this year.

There are a couple of games that the defense and special teams won for them.

Tennessee. The Titans had the ball 3 times after the Rams early 3rd quarter go-ahead score.

Jacksonville. Special teams accounted for 14 points which allowed a 10 point win.

Dallas. After a rough first half, Rams D held them to 6 points. Though this is one where both units came through in the 2nd half.

That's early 4TH quarter score.

I don't often make mistakes. My posting is almost always completely mistake free.

Anyway, after the early 4th quarter score, the defense held on for the win for 2 more quarters.
