After all, this is McVay's offense still. We do have a QB who threw for 13,600 plus yards at Oregon State and 83 TDs as well at OSU.
He's a prototypical NFL QB at 6'6" and 240 lbs. And he has a very good arm.
Lets not assume the Rams cannot handle the 49ers on Sunday. Minus some excellent starters on defense just the same it is still Wade Phillips defense.
How would that defense line up.
Ebukam Walker Smart Brockers Thompson
Hager Littleton
TruJo Johnson Joyner Hill ( I have not heard that Trumaine Johnson is not playing or the starting secondary for that matter.
On offense
Receivers: Reynolds, Thomas, Cooper, Austin
TEs: Everett, Carrier
RBs Malcom Brown, Justin Davis
O-line is probably
Williams at LT with Blythe at Center I have not heard that Stafford will not play or Jamon Brown or Havenstein.
I see McVay as being agressive on offense in this game. Many of these guys have seen good playing time already so its not like
they are coming in cold and never having played a down this season.
If the defense can be decent against the run and get good pressure on Jimmy G. This may not be the run away for the 49ers some people
are assuming.
