Oh, I agree. The other teams all have issues too. Of course, I don't follow them and don't really know them.

I just look at the team I do know--our Rams--and I hear the media pundits pumping them up, and I dunno. It's flattering as hell. And I do think we have SEEN the sort of general team quality that can win a ring.

But I just feel that the media hype misses the issue that I sense in our lads: the maturity factor.¹

And notice that I am not asserting that we aren't ready. I think we have not been ready at key points this year, but we keep evolving, so I wonder if we can take those last steps up. And you're right--we do have a really good shot!

¹The maturity issue is an example of how insipid most punditry is. Before the fact, they scream all day long about maturity and can't see the quality. Then, when the quality emerges, they blow up the hype bubble and forget all about maturity. Good assessments, which are so rare in the media, have to balance factors pointing in different directions.
