I'm sure plenty of fans out there have seen 8 seconds of Rams highlights all year and have the vague impression that the Rams are still a 4-12 team who are currently basking in a brief coaching bounce, beating the "worst team in football" every week, and are sure to get bounced on Wild Card Weekend.
I saw it all season, and even among Seahawks fans: this was the team the Seahawks effortlessly pummeled just a year ago. The Cardinals salivating in London, facing the team they licked 44-6, and so on.
Rams have proven it to YOU, and they've proven it to ME, but I think the tendency for the casual fan of a good team is "If they haven't beat MY team, I ain't convinced."
The players themselves, though? I don't think any O or D line in the NFL is feeling too confident at the prospect
