Aside from us having to lose the next 2, does anyone know what has to go down with the other NFC teams for us to not make the playoffs at all? I think it's something like a 2% probability or something like that....
Here're the main bits, I think:
1. Rams lose last 2
2. Seahawks win last 2
3. Lions win last 2
4. Saints win at least 1 of last 2.
5. Falcons win at least 2 of last 3.
The first two are clear, since otherwise the Rams win the vision.
If the Seahawks win their last two, then they'd have given Dallas a 7th loss, so Dallas couldn't make it ahead of our boys. That leaves the Lions as the only current outsider team w/a chance. They're 8-6, so they would need two and I assume they would get the tiebreak against the Rams.
Rams would have the tiebreak over the Saints if they both finish 10-6, so Saints would have to win at least one more game. And Falcons need to win 2 to get to 10-6 and *maybe* get the tiebreak over the Rams; they might need to win all three.
Suffice it to say: looks good. But Rams would do us all a favor by beating TN on Sunday.
