I didnt say they couldn't compete
I said that I would not expect them to go far beyond the wildcard round
If they get a home game they should be favored they and would likely face the Falcons, Panthers or Hawks. The Falcons and Panthers are capable of beating the Rams in LA
In any case I don’t think Goff is ready to lead them to an extended run or for that matter that this defense can handle either the Vikings or Saints if they play them on the road
But we will see
Season is not over.
I think I get where you are coming from but on the other hand if he has not lead them to 10-4 and he remains the QB playing at a top 10 level he can certainly lead them to more wins the same way he has all season.
I get the idea of not putting that pressure on him to do but this team is capable with Goff at QB going beyond a home game in the play-offs. Anyone can win it but I am not so sure that this team needs Goff to do it all which seems to make him a bit of a wildcard in our favor.
The kid is special and with McVay holding the controller its hard to guage what Goff's limitations are if he is turned loose or has to make a special play.
Los Angeles Rams
Rap on.
