I have seen exactly what you described at times ... but if that was categorically true how do you explain the first Seattle game?
The Rams got the ball down 16-10 with 69 seconds left and no timeouts. Starting on the Rams 25 yard line Goff proceeded to hit Higbee for 35 yards and then hit Woods for another 20 giving the Rams a first down on Seattle's 20 yard line with 35 seconds left. From there the Rams had 3 legitimate shots at the end zone.
Obviously the Rams didn't pull the game out but they were just a whisker away. Whether you think Kupp dropped the ball or Goff overthrew him is besides the point: the Rams ran the no huddle, 2-minutes drill well in that game, at least to the point where their ability (or inability) to run a hurry up offense didn't really cost them the game.
