He said he was concerned about the next two games and then said this:
“So you mean to tell me that you really don't get the feeling that the wheels kind of came off a little bit last week?”
My reply was this. This team once again was down. This time 24-14. Then stormed back to lead 28-24, and 35-31. Heck the defense held the Eagles to a FG to hold onto a 35-34 lead after which we had the Goff strip sack, then held them again to a FG giving the Eagles a 37-35 with the Rams offense getting the ball with 3+ minutes left
This game was close and ultimately in the end the Rams offense did not do their part. They had two opportunities to answer and didn’t after walking all over the Eagles most of the half
My hope is the Rams continue their pattern to not lose two in a row all season, and to go 3-1 each quarter. The loss to the Eagles will be their 1st and last loss in these last 4 games.
At least that’s my hope.
