One of the things that made Kurt great was also something that got him hit so much, he held on to the ball a long time to allow those deeper routes to develope.

There is a lot of inherent risk to playing QB in the NFL and running is certainly adding to tat risk but so is holding the ball and inordinate amount of time IN the pocket like Kurt, Big Ben, Rodgers and even Brady as you see him week in and week out being less and less willing to take the hits as he throws more balls away and/or just goes down.

Certainly I agree that those who love to run are that much more likely to be hurt and more often.

R.I.P. Nelson aka TonyHunter87 1971 - 2017 far too soon..

Your last words to me: "Your a great guy RFIP. I was very sad when you left the board, and your son, but was glad to see you back. Take care my friend, may God be by your side." 09/09/2017 12:58AM

No Nelson, you were a far better man than I, and I am sure an awesome husband and father as well. I will miss you my friend. -RFIP
