Yes, I would so much rather have won than lost that game.
I know someone will say "that's for losers", but I can point to half a dozen little turning points, some involving officials, that would have made this game turn out differently.
The Eagles are good. The Rams came up short yesterday.
But I just don't see it with the all the pronouncements that this guy just doesn't have it, and that guy never will, and the Rams can't win anything this year because of some great insight that someone got from watching this game. I was just as guilty after the Viking game calling them a finesse offense.
Every game is it's own story. Another game another time, maybe a different story. That goes for wins as well as losses.
We've gone so quickly from "can we just get to .500?" to "we must never lose a game, or we are losers!", it's making my head spin.
There's 32 teams and only one championship trophy. And that trophy generally gets shared only among a handful of elite teams for decades at a time.
Winning that championship is the goal for me. Never doubt it. But it's going to be rare. That's just the way it is.
If anything less makes you miserable, you aren't going to enjoy being a football fan much.
Nice post Sag. Well said. It seems after every game...win or lose, there are over reactions. If we win everything is great (with most people lol) and after a loss we suck. There are some exceptions where people are always positive (called "homers" by some lol) and some people are always depressingly negative (they must be a lot of fun to be around lol). To each their own I guess. That's what makes being a "fan" so emotional.
This week it's Goff can't win..McVay can't coach..our D cannot stop anyone and we might as well not even show up in Shitattle next week. It's really funny to read and sad too to some degree.
What will it be next week?? We shall see. Is your glass half "full" or half "empty"? Hoping for the best or expecting the worst? My glass is half "full" because it must be depressing to be a half "empty" type IMHO.
In the end, we all are Rams fans and want the same thing...Rams victories and we we got more of those this year than we have in over a decade!! No matter what happens from here on out, it's been one hell of a fun season!! Goooo Rams!!
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
