Yes, I would so much rather have won than lost that game.
I know someone will say "that's for losers", but I can point to half a dozen little turning points, some involving officials, that would have made this game turn out differently.
The Eagles are good. The Rams came up short yesterday.
But I just don't see it with the all the pronouncements that this guy just doesn't have it, and that guy never will, and the Rams can't win anything this year because of some great insight that someone got from watching this game. I was just as guilty after the Viking game calling them a finesse offense.
Every game is it's own story. Another game another time, maybe a different story. That goes for wins as well as losses. We've gone so quickly from "can we just get to .500?" to "we must never lose a game, or we are losers!", it's making my head spin.
There's 32 teams and only one championship trophy. And that trophy generally gets shared only among a handful of elite teams for decades at a time.
Winning that championship is the goal for me. Never doubt it. But it's going to be rare. That's just the way it is.
If anything less makes you miserable, you aren't going to enjoy being a football fan much.
Ramily!
