I suspect that Saffold damaged his shoulders with extreme weight lifting earlier in his career.

I am with you 100%, Rams43. He looks like a new man and has really impressed me and playing a huge role in making the offensive line a strength instead of the major weakness it has been in recent years. Of course adding Whitford and Sullivan is the number one reason but it takes five guys. It's Havenstein that really concerns me this year. He can go for stretches looking real good but when he screws up it seems that Goff has been taking some huge hits as a result. O-line is still a priority for this team in next years draft.
