I always set the DVR for lots of extra time for Rams games. That wasn't what happened in this case. They changed the channel after the schedule was posted. I tried the series record feature for the World Series, but each game was recorded for only three hours. The best game of the Series stopped recording in the fifth inning! There is no legitimate reason to post a schedule and then later change the channel. Beware if you leave town that the schedule may change. I was already traveling before the World Series schedule was posted. So I had to set it up to record those games online. As far as I could tell, the online system won't allow you to set it for specific start and end times, which you can do directly at home. It is also annoying that the Sunday Ticket channels are blocked when a game is televised locally. So you have to set it up to record two channels if you are traveling and have to do it in advance. When that happens, you could miss part of the game if an early game goes late. Considering what we have to pay for Sunday Ticket, they ought to publish a reliable schedule well in advance of the season and NOT black out those channels for local broadcasts.
