This fall, I missed some games while participating in a sea trip. Before the trip, I set my DVR to record the Rams games, but NFL Sunday Ticket changed the channel of the Cardinals game after the original schedule was posted. I missed that game and would like to thank stlrams13 for sending me a copy. I just watched it and was amazed by the drive for the final TD that took more than 10 minutes off the clock. That was total domination. I can't remember the last time the Rams had such a drive.
After getting caught up with the games that I had missed, I believe this team has a good chance to go to the Super Bowl, and this year could be their best chance. They have an excellent mix of young and veteran talent. They have amazing balance among the defense, offense, and special teams units. They have a bright young coach. They have been fortunate to remain fairly healthy. In years to come, the young players will develop, but there is no guarantee that the Rams will be as powerful as they are this year. There is a bit of a power vacuum in the NFL this season. I hope the Rams will fill this vacuum and make a run to the Super Bowl. When such an opportunity arises, you have to recognize that it's urgent to take advantage of it. There have been many teams over the years that were perceived to be destined to win a Super Bowl only to come up short and see the window close on them.
