I'm not against trading out. But who do you trade with that's going to give 2nd and 3rd round picks? That's what I don't see.
Let's say using the current draft order the Rams pick 27th. Would the Jets give them 39 and 52? No. Would Cleveland give them 42 and 65? Maybe- if the Rams also flip back another pick like their 4th to them. But the Browns FO doesn't seem like the trade-up type. The Rams could very well trade back 7-10 spots but I think the likely gain is something like a high 4th. To me that's not as good as taking the top-20 player that slipped down a few spots to you.
