play after play, his arm strength does not impress. His passes are sometimes wobbly, flutter...and does have consistent velocity. It does not mean he didn't test well, but under game conditions, he has not consistently shown it. When you watch Wentz, you can see the velocity. I don't think Goff's arm strength is a problem, but it is an issue. When Goff threw the 62 yarder, he rolled out, and stepped into it and gave it a threat throw, but conditions were ideal.
I happen to think the scouting reports were right, he has a good enough arm to make all the throws. And that is all that is needed.
