Saints just didn't have a good game. They are better than this. It's like it was with Vikes and Rams. Rams had a poor game; had they simply played better I don't know if the final outcome would have changed, but it would have been extremely close instead of a solid Vikes win.
Not saying the Saints would have beat the Rams; but I think if they played their B+ to A- game, it would have been a barn burner.
As I look at the NFC line up I see this:
Carolina is peaking and is going to be tough because Cam can carry an offense with his legs and the D is just murder.
Eagles are the class of the NFC. Period.
The Rams are right there with the Vikes. I think the Vikes have already peaked, but the Rams haven't. They are leaving a lot of plays on the field.
The Saints are good but I'm not sure they have what it takes depth wise or stamina wise to hold on to their lead. They may have peaked too early.
