Great game, great win, but...

a lot of work still to do for McVay and the players.
Negatives: So many chances to put away the Saints earlier. Goff missing that wide open TD to Watkins when he underthrew him badly ending up in an INT to make it even worse.
Undiscilplined play like in the worst day of Fisher. Way too many bad penalties that almost cost the game.
Clock management during our last drive was not good. With 2.35 to go and leading by 10 you run that damn ball with TG and not go fency with the lob to Sammy , stopping the clock. Especially when the other team is already out of timeouts.
And then to top it off the horrible prevent defense at the end. Allowing the Saints to score that TD in less than 45 seconds (!) is totally unacceptable. Made my blood pressure rise to unhealthy highs.
Thank God Sammy made his best catch of the day on the onside kick attempt.
Nevertheless, the Rams played a very good game and they will be in the division/playoff race right to the end.
