I imagine the Rams will see a lot more zone coverage with the Saints as a result.
And if they do occasionally go man to man, you have to believe they'll play off and not tight.
But....it depends on how much confidence Payton has in them.
And yes, it will hurt for the Rams to lose Woods (thank the good Lord that it isn't for the rest of the year).
However, this is going to be a great opportunity for Watkins and Kupp, and I think probably Cooper. I'll also be curious to see which of Thomas or Reynolds gets in more.
McVay needs to be aggressive, up tempo, and push the ball downfield in this game.
If the Saints feel they need to give extra help to their back up CBs, this also ought to open up some lanes for Gurley.
