Looking ahead

I think Austin and Cooper get lions share of snaps at Z. Reynolds has been playing X, behind Sammy. The Z has too many motions and other things to do, it takes some experience. Austin has started there and Cooper has more time under his belt.

Hopefully Webster will be back, R-Coleman, too. Countess and #36, as has been pointed out, cannot get it done.

After Donald and Brockers, there is a significant dropoff in talent on the dline. I was not fan of Brockers leaving nose and going to 5-tech, but he';s been excellent but was excellent at both. But his replacements at nose, Walker, Smart and Westbrooks Cannot get it done. Walker is blah. Smart makes too many errors and Westbooks is too small. Westbrooks is an end, and a 4-3 strong side end at that.

If we put the best nose tackle out there, then we lost our best DE (5-tech). But I think I would rather have Brockers at nose and rotate Westbrooks, Fox, Walker at DE. Now we have Brockers at DE, with Fox spelling him and Westy starting at nose and Walker backing him up.

But that won't happen. So, I think they will go back to Smart at nose and have Walker back him up. Westrbook back to spelling Donald.

When you watc the tape, Westbrooks fights hard but is just too small. Walker is big put can not move.
