I'm not interested in debating the issue of "missing open receivers," particularly based upon still photos which don't (can't) tell the whole story.
What I would say is that QBs, as the mature and become more comfortable, tend to see more of the field as the game "slows down."
If Jared Goff can produce numbers that project to 4,000+ yards, 25-26 TDs against 6-7 INTs and a passer rating near 100 during a time when he is only seeing part of the field, I feel pretty darn good about where he'll be in the next couple of years.
