This is a young team that went into a hostile environment against a tough experienced team and got beat!
They will learn from this....BUT..
Kupp doesn't fumble and Goff doesn't fall down when Gurley was open over the middle it's quite possibly a different game.
A couple of things went the Vikings way too like the duck and chuck from Keenum.
Nothing to be embarrassed about from that game. Clean up a few things and they will be fine.
The Rams will grow from the experience.
1. Longterm. From the longterm view, they have their coach, though he's green. They have their qb, though he's green too (and needs experience and seasoning). They have weapons on offense (how many is not clear yet but they do have some). They have players to build a defense around. If you look at it longterm,. they might stumble in a schedule that includes all 3 division leading NFC teams. But they will still be a good young team that will only get better after this year.
2. Short term. Playoffs. This does not contradict #1 in the least, but, short term, they may not make the playoffs. Too many things that are still developing and so inconsistent, and too tough a schedule.
Myself, I am oriented toward #1. If #2 goes right, I will take it, but it will be gravy.
