But when he turned and was "Hey, you looked like you'd lost a step on film" and smiled at Scarlett, who'd just sacked him, that was awesome. He just bounces up and goes back to work. It's how he interacts with the team after that that wins me over. He checks everyone "We're alright, we're alright". Yes, this came after a little come-to-Jesus with McVay, but that's OK. He's genuine. He's not going to be ground down. He's learning what it takes to come back to form and he's learned not to force it. We've seen him make incredible strides from the beginning of the season. He's very much not the same kid he was back in September, and I love watching the process. I very much love that he's enjoying this. Gotta let 'em live a little.
