And like some of the other oldtimers, I have seen the Vikings leave something in our punchbowl too many times.
I really think
it's this last game that has me a bit spooked, despite the 33-7 final score.
The Texans had no Watson, no bell cow at running back, and some important parts missing on their defense (Watts, etc).
And yet, they were throttling the Rams in LA, until Savage threw that pick to Barron and Goff hit Woods ("Holding, holding!" ).
I couldn't help wondering midway through the 2nd quarter whether the league was starting to catch up to McVay and Goff.
Then the dam burst, and it was no longer close enough for any of that to matter.
