So while McVay and his staff have to make a decision about a backup running back in either Lance Dunbar or Justin Davis, they’ll also have to looks at replacements at OLB for Robert Quinn and the TE3 spot for Derek Carrier. Matt Longacre is listed behind Quinn on the team’s official depth chart, but I’d expect to see some more action from rookie Samson Ebukam as well. As for Carrier, there’s no automatic selection to be had. I’d guess the Rams just roll two-deep at tight end with Tyler Higbee and Gerald Everett, but perhaps there’s an outside shot at promoting Johnny Mundt from the practice squad this weekend.
