Always seems to be in the right place, good range, good tackler, seems like good balls skills. Instincts/recognition is SO important at FS, and he seems to have it. I like him LOTS better than TJ, Mo, or even Joyner (who I like too) at FS.
he;s missed a couple of key tacvkles. Johnson, just an FYI is the SS not the FS
He has missed a few but I'm pretty comfortable with his tackling abilities.
He was very good at that in college too. I believe PFF had him rated was one of the top 7 tacklers at the safety position last year.
My concern is with his ability to be in the right position giving that he isn't the fastest guy out there. I think when he does miss a tackle it's due to this.
I've observed that when he solidly gets his hands on a guy they come down.
