Well, we first had to move back in the draft to get the pick to get JJ. (Kudos to Snead).
Also, we now have 2 FSs on the field....the whole league getting faster and better in coverage...with Alec and Barron at ILB that helps, too.
Ya, JJ isn't so physical as a SS like TJ Mac, but everything else points to a very good+ future!
TJ Mac was part of what was wrong with the Rams....really slow, couldn't turn and run in coverage, but because he could hit like a ton of bricks he played....ya, ya, he was smart, but played bad in coverage...
