In fact, I agree with all the posted comments so far. We’re not 51-17 good. Not yet, anyway.
But I will say this about Wade’s D. They may not be smothering their opponents in terms of yardage and 1st downs. But they are really hard to score against. Since the second half of that Dallas game they’ve really been effective. And scoring D is the name of the game.
One last thing. Let’s don’t forget that McVay and Wade were playing mostly backups after approx the last 3 minutes of the third quarter. And not a single pass play was called after that point, either.
A sportsmanlike thing to do, but it did hold down potential Ram scoring. And I’m not sure that the Giants would have scored that late TD against the Ones, either.
So there is that.
