Yeah, i know what you mean, J. I've watched the D players over the years and it does seem like
they are often 'catching up' with the WRs but the endzone saves the WRs.
Sometimes ya have guys like Tavon that can be caught because their 'straight line' speed isnt
good enough over a long distance. They have the 'burst' and they have the quickness but sometimes the straight line speed
kinda tails off after forty yards or so.
Some players just...have...it...All. Quickness. Straight-line speed. Straight-line endurance. Instincts. Leadership skills. Mental toughness. I think of Darrell Green for one.
