So many football people, including many teams, think that "throwing downfield" means heaving bombs and that speed is the most important asset a WR can have.
It ain't true. I am old enough to remember Raymond Berry terrorizing secondaries with slow foot speed and a slight body. And those were the days when DBs could murder WRs on their routes. Ike was the best WR of the GSOT bunch, and he was probably the slowest.
Route-running and hands. Give me that in my WRs and I'll always be content.
