With Whitworth I don't think they "get rid of him", I think he simply retires after 2018 (he will be 37). I think that's his plan.
Saffold will be 31 heading into 2019. I'm not sure you give him another contract heading into his 10th NFL season. Havenstein and Brown? Probably one stays?
In any case I would draft two OL each in 2018 and 2019. Not saying any have to be 1st round picks but they also can't all be day 3 picks either.
Interesting on Whitworth. Has he said that?
On Saffold, it depends on how he is playing at that stage. O'linemen frequently play well into their 30's. He doesn't have be signed to a 6 year contract but if he's playing well and continuing to be healthy why not continue with him?
Keep in mind there is also free agency in supplementing the line. I'm not sure if it was Fisher's influence or Snead's but free agent vets have been a highly utilized method of building the line in the past.
