I think he loves playing with these teammates.
And I’m sure that he loves playing in Wade’s D. I mean, does it get any better than that for a D player?
Clearly, he appreciates playing on a team with an explosive O. He now enjoys that luxury and he’s said as much on two occasions. Moreover, this is a young QB with young O players around him at the skill positions. Meaning that it will likely continue to be a potent O for years and years. What D player wouldn’t place high value on that as he decides where he wants to play next season?
In fact, I will go so far as to say that only greed or a miscalculation as to his worth would cause him not to extend with the Rams. Unfortunately, he might just be that mistaken. Thus my 50-50 calculation.
