Yeah that's the perception you have to have in this situation with injuries like that.
I just want to note that, ironically, often the Rams have been far worse than that when it comes to injuries. Examples: in 2011 they lost 10 CBs. Yep LOST 10 CBs. By game 8 of 2012, they had played 10 different offensive linemen.
The irony is that occasionally, some Rams fans would say "ah but all teams have injuries, it's no excuse." (I don't have anyone particular in mind. It' just a tendency you see around the Rams net.) Often that of course depended on how they felt about the head coach.
