I keep up with trends, that's all ... when I talk college I talk in terms of big sweeping movements ... because I want to be prepared for what talent I can expect to take shape going into next year (and year after) ...
Teams that need WR help will have about 4 players in round 1 that will demand attention ... this means that rush LBs and DL may slide. CB won't slide because the position is too thin this year and the need is ever present. The hope is that, if a team needs both, they choose the WR.
Right now I can't find a good reason to stay in round 1 unless a crazy DT slides (and there are likely 3 of those). There will be top Rush LBs and mid tier CBs down through the third round.
We could trade to the middle of round 2 for a 3rd and give back a 5th AND 6th and be fine. In fact the later draft picks we have are almost pointless.
