I generally agree with your post till we hit your faulty logic re Cigs.
Why would you consider the Salary Cap in the Aggregate but not the use of Players in the aggregate.
The fact that Tavon got 9 TDs in 2015 when the offense stunk I think makes the opposite point that you are trying to make when you consider it in the aggregate:
17.5 ppg, 29th out of 32 teams on offense.
When considered in the aggregate, McVay knows how to use everyone better towards the ultimate goal of Winning Football games.
I don't think you prove you know how to use players best, when in the aggregate, your offense sucks.
Not sure I followed that because you switched between some topics I tried to separate. So for example, I said that I consider cap issues to be off-season issues. You then talk about in-season performance. I tried to say I look at player cap numbers in the aggregate. You then applied the term "aggregate" to something I didn't, so you lost me. In fact we seem to be using the word to mean different things.
Also there are all sorts of assumptions there I don't share. Like for example I don't know what you "blame" the Rams offense not doing well in 2015 on...not sure (??) I blame it on them having no starting caliber qb and a very young inexperienced OL. And I don;'t know what that has got to do with Tavon's contract.
