Hey Craig Matson, I disagree with you about the need for biting one's arm off... check out the photo I posted which shows Gurley's foot out of bounds while his fingers are still in contact with the ball.
I also disagree about the sanity of the rule whereby if "ball touches pylon results in touchback." This writer feels the same way. I think a case can be made for both sides, but I think the rule punishes the offense too much in these situations. They change tons of rules every year, I'd like to see this one tweaked.
