Yep....Only 12th game starting....he may not be Aaron Rogers, but I have hopes just south of there! But, he needs a few years.
I believe the first half was 'protect' Goff, make him feel ok, and save Gurley for 15 carries in the 2nd half; I thought that Gurley would be unleashed, and then some more aggressive play calling---McVay thinks Goff still has some more sea legs to earn, maybe. Playing to not lose is what it looked like to me. Rams learned a lot about their 'emotional' weakness....Seattle took it to the Rams...and still Kupp could have won it!
Rams D is better? I will believe it when we are successful against a more aggressive and 'balanced' attack offense
(like AZ??)
