I heard Mychal Thompson say yesterday that LA's current priority list for this weekend is: Dodgers, Lakers, USC, and then the Rams. He didn't think there would be a lot of interest in the Rams game on Sunday. I have a hard time believing more people in LA would be interested in a Lakers preseason game than Rams-Seahawks. But how should I know?
Yep. That sounds about right.
You've no idea how much good will the Rams pissed away with last season's debacle. Fence-sitting fans began following the successful Raiders (who still harbored dreams of them returning to LA) or just focused their attention on the successful Dodger season and/or hopeful Laker season.
Some way...some how, the Rams NEED to secure a home playoff game to tilt things in their favor. If the Raiders can't overcome Carr's injury, the Rams will be in prime position to reclaim some fan allegiance.
