....the Rams can keep the dark blue helmet, changing jerseys is not a safety issue.
And I do not know how a different helmet protects from injury and there is data to show it does not cause head injuries to have a new helmet, but in my opinion, two vastly different issues.
The root cause?
I think the NFL/Nike do not want to have jerseys thrown out that have already been made. So you end up with a professional football team with RIDICULOUS uniforms that are not U-N-I-F-O-R-M....
Bottom line? $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
BTW Waterfield, not directed at you, just my opinion in general...
Of course it's about money.... If you spent a bunch of money to produce a product, you'd want some protections that the product you are producing isn't obsolete in one year.
The Rams knew this but still decided to change the helmets color....looked pretty good on the white uni, but it was terrible looking on those blue ones.
My question is, why can't the Rams just go with the gold horns when they have to wear the road blue uni??? It's a simple decal change.
Rams should have just waited until the new unis are released anyway IMO.
