I'm sure you're right about it legally, but hasn't been tried in an NFL court. Goodell gives out punishment before the guy has his day in court. And what if he's later found innocent? He'll never make back the fine money from the suspension. Years ago, the Ani Ed's starting QB was accused of sexual assault at his alma Jared and was immediately released. The accuser later admitted to making the whole thing up, but his career was over. Being arrested or accused of a crime is very different than being convicted. Again I don't like the Cowboys and I hate the Niners, but just raising a question as to the rush to judgement.
