The Rams are a team on the rise. Coming from behind in a 13-0 game to make it 20-20 is an upgrade--it portends very good things. Goff still has the training wheels on, but now we ALL know he is a pretty good player and might become very good....(I still like him more than Wentz in the long term).
THe D cost us the game; we gave up 2 turnovers and got 0 against a pretty decent team, so you can't expect much with a D that can't stop the run and being -2 in turnovers....we are advancing forward. IF the D becomes what we all thought it could be, we will win 10 games...but, right now we are a bottom 10 Defense, not a top 10 defense.
THe O is progressing nicely; if Sammy Watkins cant get
8-10 targets every game, we are will not move forward with all tehse trick plays in place of good ol' fashion WRs beating corners (bubble screens, jet sweeps, screens)
2 targets for a guy of Watkins level?? Hmmm, it's like putting AD at nose tackle.
