Yards per attempt at 10.6 is DOUBLE his average from last year

That is a HUGE stat. Goff was dead last in Yards per attempt last year at 5.3. A really good YPA is 7.0. So don't expect Goff to stay near 10.6. But there wasn't a ton of YAC on his receptions today....so that 10.6 is a tremendous number

Fault the Colts for not making adjustments. But I guess you have to figure they just didn't think Goff would change his stripes after last year. Plus, they must have figured in the second half the Rams would run the ball. The Rams tried to run....but failed....so they went back to the passing game....and stuck the dagger into the Colts.

If Goff's YPA range is in the 7 - 10 range in the coming weeks.....with few INT's.......then life will get much easier for Gurley. NFL coaches will pick up on this stat and are going to have to respect it.
