The pick six and the bad pass for the lateral fumble are the types of major TOs that everyone has been killing Goff for.
The difference is that Wentz has made some nice plays as well.
He's been erratic but exciting to watch but youre not going to the playoffs with that level of QB play.
Right now, Wentz is playing more like Mark Sanchez than a franchise QB.
The difference is the entire offense has been hoisted on Wentz's shoulders and he hasn't had much help around him, certainly not the O-line, yet he's still made plays, gained a bunch of yards and scored points.
It's all on him. And it's still only the first game of his second season.
You can make the playoffs with that kind of QB play, but not with the rest of the play of the offense thus far.
If this is the stuff Goff had shown thus far, I'd be super excited.....and the truth is, so you would you and everybody else here.
