Your syntax. Which admittedly I could have misread but still. In response to me saying the team IS welcoming him back (high-5s and hugs), you said "History is littered with obnoxious people being adored by others less intelligent." The way I read that, since it's a response to the team IS welcoming him back, you said history is full of bad people who get admired by the less intelligent, which means the teammates welcoming him back are less intelligent.

So if you did not guess I got it from your own syntax, your guess is a bad one.

And the reports all summer were that the team missed him and looked forward to him coming back. That came out in this or that interview or snippet. Guys were saying they understood the business side etc. That was all in stark contrast to Faulk's hold out in 99, when players like Timmerman were openly saying things like well it's better to have everyone in camp.

And none of this is a big deal. It's game day 1, we;'re both lifelong Rams fans, and a difference of opinion over Donald is just one thing...we probably agree on dozens of other things. So I consider this a one-off exchange with a minor difference and the rest is cheering and Go Rams-ing. Fair enough?
